New Site Opening

We are proud to announce the opening of a new facility in Reno, Nevada in mid November. A leader in debt recovery for various credit card issuers, ASG, an ICICI OneSource company, has added several large clients to its portfolio warranting the new facility. The first training class is slated to take place on November 16, 2006. 

Now, in addition to the employment opportunities available at our Amherst, NY location, you can also look out for openings at the Reno, Nevada facility. We are recruiting for fifteen debt recovery specialists to start, with plans to ramp up to 150. If you have customer service experience, basic computer skills, a high school diploma or GED, and the desire to excel at your work, we are interested in you!



Current Opportunities



Collection Supervisor

Provide daily leadership and training to a team of Collection Representatives. Meet performance goals of company on a monthly basis. Monitor Collection Representative’s ability to achieve productivity, efficiency and accuracy of all processes. Our supervisor do not work their own file of accounts. Driving performance and motivating your staff to achieve team and individual goals is your priority. At least 2-3 nights weekly and 2 weekend shifts a month are required.

Specific Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Utilize and communicate performance data to enhance collector performance to meet monthly financial goals.
  • Conduct collector performance evaluations to provide employee coaching and development for continuous improvement.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, client standards and federal and state laws.
  • Continental development of staff though ongoing coaching, training and mentoring.
  • Oversee team performance measures and provides regular progress reports to manager.
  • Conduct employee disciplinary procedures.
  • Prioritize workflow and communicate priorities effectively with Collection Representatives.
  • Meet or exceed attrition rate targets.
  • Define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
  • Ensure work flows and file maintenance procedures are followed
  • Responsible for all other duties as assigned or needed.

Minimum Skills Requirements:

  • At least (1) one year of previous collection supervisory experience
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills.
  • Familiarity with a personal computer and basic keyboard skills.
  • Knowledge of the CUBS Collection Application (system software)
  • Knowledge of the Dialer Collection Application
  • Able to locate customers through interpretation of CBR's and other sources of information.
  • Basic math knowledge with emphasis on calculating percentages.
  • Knowledge of the client's business and requirements to include work standards.
  • Knowledge of FDCPA and State Laws.
  • Knowledge of ASG's Policies and Procedures.
  • Working knowledge of Excel
  • Ability to read, interpret, and effectively communicate Operational data. Associates Degree in Business Management or related field

Debt Recovery Agents
The successful candidate will be responsible for performing inbound and outbound collection activity to customers that have become delinquent on their credit cards, retail or recreational purchases, and home improvement loans.

We are seeking customer-service oriented, energetic, motivated individuals who that are dedicated to helping people resolve their debt situation in a professional manner.

Minimum Qualifications:
High school diploma or GED, at least six months of customer service and/or sales experience, a commitment to succeed, willingness to learn and take on new challenges, basic computer skills and effective communication ability are required. Solid decision making and negotiation skills, the ability to analyze and resolve customer problems and complaints. Knowledge of on-line collection and skip tracing tools a plus.

Programmer/Developer
Basic Purpose and Function: 
"Perform various tasks related to the development, implementation and support of the" 
Columbia Ultimate Business Systems (CUBS) application and related products. 

Specific Duties and Responsibilities: 

  • Provide operational, end-user support of CUBS features and functionality.
  • Review, develop, program, debug & integrate software solutions for client & ASG operational requests.
  • Review, recommend and implement new business services, functions, tools and technical alternatives to meet business strategies.

Minimum Skill Requirements:

  • Knowledge of computer systems and operating systems including but not limited to Microsoft NT.
  • Two years PICK Basic programming experience (preferably on IBM Universe Database, or Unidata)".

Preferred Qualifications:

  • College Degree or equivalent experience.
